IP Surveillance System Integration

Ourdoor IP surveillance requirements:

CCTV and IP surveillance has now been widely used in many outdoor fields, such as commercial buildings, crossroads traffic, and residential district security.

In order to use Ethernet outdoors, we have the following features required: to fit wide  temperature change, water-proof, EMI or surge protected, corrosion reliability, anti-dust, remote powering, transmission distance, and most importantly, cost-effective

Outdoor Ethernet and power carrier:

Considering all of the above, we utilize “Coax” as the media that has been used for outdoor field for over 50 years. Plus our unique “EOC”-“Ethernet over coax” technique, we can use coaxial cable and its related components as outdoor device. In stead of using “POE”-power over Ethernet, our method of remote power and outdoor Ethernet transmission is a lot more economical and mature. It’s “POC”-Power Over Coax. With new concepts on old technology of coax cable, we have the innovative system integrated equipment: POC transmitter and 2-port receiver

Ethernet/IP and power carried over coax:

It has the advantage of extending span over 100m by a very simple PoC pair. Power can also be carried over coaxial cable and converted into 12V DC in remote side. POC-TX combines 48V DC power and Ethernet data signal into coaxial cable. POC-2RX can divide data and power in the remote side. Two Ethernet data and 12V DC outputs allow user to connect and power to two CCTV systems (IP cameras). These two devices are all outdoor available. By using this product, Ethernet signal and power can pass through coaxial cable without complicated boxes and wiring engineering.

With super long transmission distance of Ethernet, remote power supply function co-existed with data signal on a single coaxial cable, and features of wide operation temperature, water-proof, EMI/surge protected, corrosion reliability, and anti-dust, we believer that the POC transmitter and 2-port receiver can make
a breakthrough on IP surveillance system integration.
